A month into 2008 already - hope we are all 8% of the way towards meeting our annual targets !
BITUG are well on track because February sees 20% of the year's SIG content get underway on Feb 13th at Wood Street.
This SIG focuses on Operations Management and Systems Management and includes a high level of input from HP and Vendors, as well as a joint session from users and HP on various aspects of time.

We are also in the early stages of planning for the November SIG, which potentially covers two days - the first day being education and golf, the next being a conventional SIG.
This SIG would look in two directions - briefly back at the last 30 years of Tandem in the UK and Europe and, more importantly, forwards to the next stages in the evolution of NonStop hardware and software.
As ever, comments on this or any other aspect of the "BITUG service" can be emailed to me or any committee member.

Talking of committee members - we seem to have persuaded some new people to step aboard. More on that next time ....
